So my service advisor had called me and told me my short block needs to be replaced and so they will be replacing my entire engine with a new one. 2024 IS500 with 26k miles. I’ve done my oil changes every 3k miles with liquid Molly and have only used 93 octane. I’m surprised my engine gave out so sooon…. If your V8 makes a weird tick get it checked out!

I have a 2024 is500 with about 26k miles on it. I noticed it’s been making a ticking noise when I rev or accelerate between 1200-2200k RPM? I do my oil changes every 3500 miles and use Costco/shell gas. Anyone experience this issue?
