Ok guys, I heard you loud and clear. And made the leash better. I started with adding a quick snap swivel with a break strength of 70lbs(for a 74lb hound). Figured that would be ideal. Made a dedicated slip collar with a larger eye so the rope would slide more freely but not to big as to come undone. And doing those two things added to the leads overall length making it 6ft long so my boy can have a proper sniff while I hold a comfy lead. Anyways wanted to share and if you have any thoughts, comment. ✌️

Without any hardware it’s soft, comfy and acts like a choke collar although my hound still pulls on it.
