"Recreational" handcuffs. Comfy, one size fits most.

Just for fun. I guess most of you here can figure out how it is done. Enjoy.

Need book suggestions for learning as a beginner

Can anyone suggest a good book for beginner learning para cord weaving something that explains basic weaves make to my own creations kind of thing or any books with some fun projects. I just bought one book off Amazon called the ultimate para cord handbook it was a joke. The section about tools just said use two large forceps one of the curved and one without nothing about the weaving needles or any of the jigs you can get, didn’t have a lot of the projects that said it had was missing steps when I compared it to YouTube after they didn’t come out proper i’m guessing it wanted to make it look like it was longer than it was as well cause some of the pages in it had two lines of text and then it would go to the next page finish another two lines and then go to the next page lol so any good book or author suggestions would be greatly appreciated

Any clue what this method is called?

Recently picked up this hobby and found a love for it. I quickly was brought back to my friendship bracelet making days in middle school! However there's one weave I've been searching for a step by step on ever since I saw it, and I cannot even find what it's called! I found one single video with zero verbal instructions and I believe the second photo that I stumbled upon online is the same technique. Does anyone know what this is called, and where I can learn more?

I desperately want to use it for something!

I haaate wasting cord, and I have been fiddling around with my least favorite colors to try and figure it out with no success. I am trying to create a diamond-like pattern.

Thank you!!

Need fast-to-make ideas for a high school open house.

I have a tight budget but thought I could buy some paracord in school colors. What could I make up quickly that doesn't use too much cord. I can afford 50-100 feet of each color (2 colors).

I have one week and hoping to have at least 50-100 items.

About Paracord for lanyards

I have some fidgets where the usual Paracord won't fit. Anybody know how the thinner strands types are called?

Made a 3D printable paracord spool box to sort my Paracord 550

Hey everyone!

After sharing my original Skådis paracord spool, someone reached out asking if I could make a Gridfinity version. So I designed this modular Gridfinity spool box with a built-in guide line to keep the cord neat and tangle-free.

It keeps the cord organized, lets you pull out the exact length you need without the spool rolling away, and stacks cleanly.

I’m sharing the files for free on MakerWorld for anyone with a 3D printer (or a friend with one!):

Since you guys are the real paracord experts, I’d love to know what you think or if you have any ideas for improvements!

Would paracord on this be crazy?

Considering doing the entire outer bar of my cargo carrier in black paracord. Im worried about losing color in the sun. Or it getting dirty and being impossible to clean. Anyone done something this big before? Something that lives outside? Would this be a terrible idea?

My new Scorpion keychain

The bead was made by an artisan I know. One-of-a-kind. What do you think—does it make sense to set up mass production of these beads?

Repairable?

I’m curious if it’s possible to somehow repair the single broken strand on this cobra knot bracelet. I would rather not scrap or rebuild the entire thing as it’s incredibly sentimental, but hoping there is a way to somewhat salvage this, if at all.

macrame/maedeup phone strap

I’ve been teaching myself traditional Korean decorative knotting (maedeup) over the past few months with the intention of eventually creating jewelry and accessories and last night I made my first short phone strap using 550 paracord and my favorite knot, the amnabi, or female butterfly knot! 🦋 I used macrame knots for the other knots in the strap and I’m so pleased how it turned out- I’m really excited to experiment with using multiple colors, more hardware, even longer lengths so it can be a crossbody strap, and other decorative knots.

Weave ID?

Can anyone give me some info about what this weave is /how to tie it? Image is from u/KillaBlaze614 but they haven't been active in a few years it seems.

What’s the best way to add a loop to the bottom of this cobra weave?

What’s the best way to make a loop similar to the 2nd picture?
