I’ve been looking for reviews of BEAT in Istanbul.
I am very interested in Turkish fans.
You know the live in Japan was very quiet but we enjoyed very much.

Everyone, please report the live and tell the difference to Japan.
I think Turkish fans love songs like Sartori in Tangier, no?
You guys can’t stop dancing, ha ha!
OP here — thanks for all the responses on my “Alex Fan?” post.
Since I’m not a native speaker, replying to 50+ comments individually is really tough for me, but I read every single one.
I have enjoyed the stories and the way people talked about Alex’s playing — in a way he’d probably appreciate.
You know, I’m still hoping from the Far East for that Passage to Asia someday.
Thanks again.
Anybody else here mostly an Alex fan?
i got into Rush around 1990, coming from jazz/fusion rather than prog.
What always fascinated me was Alex.
Not the flashy side of guitar playing, but the way he seems to wrap the band in his guitar sound.
Making space, filling space, knowing when not to play.
With the current tour, everybody’s talking about Anika (i know).
But what i’m watching is how the chemistry changes over time.
Not whether she becomes Neil.
More whether Alex starts interacting with her the way he used to interact with the band as a living thing.
They’re in North America now, and Europe is locked in.
Still hoping for a Passage to Asia…
