I'd welcome views on this. I ordered an air conditioning unit knowing the delivery window was a period of weeks but not wishing to pay scalping prices on principle. To my surprise Amazon took payment immediately, and have had my money for a month. One week of the original window remains. No updates, just "it will be delivered by Friday".

I'm hopeful I've effectively booked a slot for whenever they next come in, even if it's later than advertised, but is there any way to get more detail? Their emails have said to get back in touch only when it's late per the original window... thanks.

I was thinking about how I tend to think of the Aurora being north of your Lifepod for some reason, which then made me wonder if a conventional compass is definitely going to work on any given alien planet. Can't immediately recall if the HUD one is digital or not? Might the PDA adapt it?
