I recently purchased a trial reels course from Avarie Lewis IG handle @ursocialsister and the entire course is completely 100% outdated with zero usable information.

The worst part is the creator is very aware her course is outdated! My cousin apparently bought the same course and emailed her in MAY!!! She replied there are workarounds and she would be updating the course on Sunday...well it's now mid-August and there have been zero updates 3+ months later!

I will be disputing the charge of course, but I hate to see other people get ripped off by this person who is selling an outdated course. She is actively running ads to sell this course, and people are commenting every single day on her ad for this course, which is outdated! So at this point, she is very intentionally scamming people by running ads to a course that she admits is highly outdated.

I sent her an email two weeks ago and she has not replied to my request for a refund or anything that I have messaged her on Social Media asking for my money back!

So my goal is just to make sure you guys are double checking information and not getting scammed because there's a lot of people up there taking money and doing unethical business practices! If

After months of interviewing, and very careful thought, I decided to pull the trigger and hire a marketing company to help me grow my Instagram

I interviewed about 7 to 8 different companies and this particular company came highly recommended to me by two people that I know

After speaking with the company, I feel really confident that they had a solid understanding of my industry. They even showed me another creator in my niche that they worked with and they "blew their account up"

Because I'm forgetful, I recorded our initial conversation as I recorded all of the conversations not for any other reason but only so I could refer back because I am very very forgetful.

This particular company made a ton of promises for me about funnels and emails several things that were in the scope of work we never delivered on.

I've been making content at this point for two consistent years on Instagram with zero growth I know my content is not the best however, it's after all of this time. I have definitely made very great improvements. I film on scene with professional equipment. I'm out & about, have a decent Camera presence. I have great lighting, strong hooks, & tik all of the boxes for an account that should be growing. 🤷‍♀️ i do look at my account, very objectively & not through rose colored glasses.

I'm very conflicted because this company made me a ton promises about growing my account "blowing my account" & offering me things that were never delivered on.

Through all our time together, we had several disagreements on the style of content, but they kept personally assuring me that they knew my niche. They understood the market and that they knew what they were doing. 🤦‍♀️ so I took a backseat and let the "experts " that I hired do their thing. Even though I really hated the content! It was too broad. It wasn't speaking to anyone a lot of it didn't even make any sense. The clips were too short 5-6 seconds they never gave me any face to Camara scripts and I did give them feedback a couple times saying that the hooks were way too broad.

Long story short after $10,000 and 3 months later I only gained 3 Bot followers and zero sales the entire time. Every single solitary one of the reels tanked hard that they did, like under 100 views bad 🤦‍♀️

I really want to dispute the charges for this company. I even asked for my money back and they threatened legal on me, but I'm conflicted because on one hand they did deliver part of their promise by doing the B rolls every day but I didn't get anything else that was in the scope of work no emails, no funnels aaaistance, no sales Landing page setup /review. I kept asking for it and they would avoid my requests for support.

I'm just wanting to know what you would do? 10k is a decent amount of money for only 3 bot followers 😫

Ever since the last update trial reels are massively being pushed to counties outside my audience completely opposite of my niche.

Despite SEO, hyper specificity, posting when certain regions are asleep, calling out verbally who my content is for it gets pushed to junk "bot-like" accounts.

I suspect that IG is going to soon phase trial reels out and this is part of that plan in addition to all the restrictions they added last year.

The reels may go "viral" but it's hurting your account if it's to the opposite audience you intend and they engage.
