I get cold sores and my trigger is usually stress - for the last several weeks I’ve been under extreme stress and getting very little sleep so I’m anticipating an outbreak soon. I have a week long event coming up next week where I really really really don’t want an outbreak. I know that you can take it preventatively but I’m struggling to work out the dosage and how often I should be taking it in a day. I have a box prescribed and ready, I just need to make sure I’m getting the dosage right. I know this is more of a pharmacy question but I was hoping someone here would be able to help? Thanks!
