As a fan of Wonyoung since her IZ*ONE days,i believe she deserves more recognition as a artist; her detractors act as if she overshadows every other K-pop idols and as though her fellow members have to "put up with" her presence (they even accuse her of bullying them), yet she shares her endorsement deals with them—and with the agency's rookies—and always prioritizes group activities over her own career. No one should have to turn down an invitation to Cannes Lions; in the end, it was Starship’s vice president who went in her place.

Starship absolutely does not deserve IVE (they have mismanaged the group), let alone Wonyoung: they have used her as a revenue stream for brands without planning for her future career. Yet, even major Chinese magazines waited two years to reach out to her, and Bulgari waited four years before ambassadorship with her.I can notice starship trying their best for balance ive popularity also her members are more free and allowed to done more diverse opportunities.Yet this is kinda tired to get only brands contents as wonyoung stan when she said ton times she wanted trying other fields.

I dont forget her own sucessful collab brand with medicube for a hair comb.This is sold out in numbers of 100k in 2 months even that was exclusivity in japan.Her fanbase is so solid for support her especially chinese fanbase.

The fact,she win 3 awards in big ceremony in china for her unofficial solo .(that was charted high on a biggest chinese music platform top 10 on QQ music )

I believe she will flourish as an individual artist and entertainer—perhaps as a soloist or actress—if she makes the right choices. I recall several IVE producers stating that she deserves her own solo album given how much effort she puts in.In 2022, numerous articles reported that directors wanted to cast her as an actress, but Starship turned down these offers in favor of the group's longevity.

I feel wonyoung is so limited and under pressure in ive and as starship artist.Maybe she is scared to get stupid accusations if she accept ton huge opportunities .We need wonyoung under other company in 2028.

K-pop fans tend to underestimate Wonyoung. Personally, I think she leads the group better than Yujin, at least creatively. I believe Rei and Gaeul are the most creative members along with Wonyoung, both musically and in terms of content. Wonyoung has written many excellent songs for Ive, such as "Shine with Me," "OTT," "Blue Heart," and "Mine." She created the choreography for "Mirror"part from "Love Dive" and convinced the starship label to choose that track for Ive, even though the other members and starship were skeptical about the demo of love dive.(this is amazing song in english)

She get always viral in Variety shows as witty and fun,many non fans are positively surprised when they have seen her laugh alsl she is passioned in Art/ music

Her first solo track "8" was her weakest song to date, and unlike the other members who posted several TikTok videos about it or participated in challenges, she didn't promote it. (She may have once posted a short TikTok video of Ive's concert in Manila.)

Asleast she trying to take risks in music creation because every songs,she write as sole lyricist also there is different music genre.

I think Wonyoung will shine even brighter if she releases another solo track as successful as her collaborations "Bang Bang," "XOXZ," and "Attitude." She fits perfectly into "XOXZ" and "Attitude," as there are the only 2 lyricists who co-wrote half of lycris with her in main tracks.

Wonyoung own brand's collaboration with Medicube on a hairbrush has been a real success, as it's very popular in Japan and among international fans. Unfortunately, shipping is only available in Japan.

I think Wonyoung have huge potential to succeed in any field.I hope she didn’t renew with starship or asleast she negociated her contract because they are hidden greedy company with endless fansigns during months and exploitation.
