Let's talk about how stupid America is becoming and yes I do mean you reddit.

So I just tried to post a question on r/dating

The post was removed in about half a second by the modbot

Why? Because despite being probably 200 words and using the word woman or women many many times I did apparently at some point use the word female.

So the mod team explains that the word female is now considered derogatory because of a red pill / black pill connotation?

What in the actual fuck?

So let me try to piece this together

You mods over at that group don't want nasty derogatory hurtful rhetoric from this red pill / black pill group of people to infect the comment or posting section.

Okay, I'm with you, that makes sense so far.

But your solution to this is to Outlaw the word female? That's not just stupid, that's insultingly stupid.

So it seems to me like you are essentially supporting this red pill black pill Community by admitting that they now "own" that word and they now have control over the way in which that word should be understood as a derogatory term towards women?

What the fuck?

You people are getting dumber and dumber and dumber.

My suggestion would be if you don't like some sort of hateful group then probably don't set up your own groups in ways that unintentionally support the hate groups that you claim not to like.

LOL. Yeah I hate those misogynistic incell Andrew Tate types who hate all women so to push back on that I'm going to lessen the amount of verbs or adjectives or nouns or well just really less of all words that refer to women. I think that's going to be helpful in the long run. You know, for women. F****** idiots.

It kind of annoys me that the weather people say it is X temperature but feels like Y during extreme hot or cold.

I hate when the weather man says it's 99° outside but it feels like 105°. Or when the weatherman says it's 0° outside but it feels like -10°.

I feel like saying "no you idiot, if it's 99° outside, then this is what 99° feels like".

And yes I understand that the reason they do that is because of the differences in humidity or other such factors.

But who's to say what the perfect humidity is?

If it's 100° outside and you go outside and feel what it feels like, that's what it feels like when it's 100° outside.

Want to compare it to 110°? Then wait till the next time it's 110° and go outside and now you know what 110° feels like.

I don't know it just feels like clickbait or ego or something for all of us to run around talking about "well sure it's this temperature but it actually feels like this other temperature" and so what? we're extra cool because we experienced some sort of temperature with some sort of humidity and that made some sort of difference that now makes us what? more experienced??

It's like grandparents saying they had to walk to school uphill both ways.

Like just let reality be reality and don't try to make it something extra.

The corporate tax rate doesn't matter nearly as much as you think it does. If you're overly focused on it, you're still being fooled.

Hello everyone.

I'm back again to make a very simple point which seems to elude most of you.

Here is an example for you to think about.

"Corporation" makes $100 this year.

They spend $75 on "necessities".

They are left with $25 of profit which THEN gets taxed at 40%.

25 x .6 = 15

At the end of the year they have $15.

----------------

"You" also made $100 this year.

You are THEN taxed at 20%

100 x .8 = 80

You also pay $75 in necessities

80-75=5

You are left with $5

-----

-----

-----

In this example the corporate tax rate is 20% higher than the individual tax rate. it is literally double.

Yet somehow the corporation ends up with three times as much money as you at the end of the year.

Just think about it for a while.
