Transport route from Naples train station to Pompeii
One confusing aspect is that there are three entrances/exits to the Pompeii archaeological site, and there are also three railway stations nearby.

1 is the most common entry point.

A is near entrances 1 and 2; B and C are near entrance 3.
Google Maps shows Train 13 going to Station A, the Train MET going to Station B, and Train 14 going to Station C.
Taking Train 13 to Station A and entering and exiting via Entrance 1 is the most common choice.
