We had a monster which I loved due to its ability to roll and the fact that it had the battery powered option. Very portable and convenient. Until it suddenly stopped working, right after the warranty ended 🙄. It won’t work now, no matter what…I’ve tried charging it and using it plugged in. It’s just dead. I don’t want to spend $500 on something if we can get it for less. But I do want it to be loud, portable, and battery-powered (at least as an option - I can and will plug it in most of the time.) What has everyone used that is loud enough for indoor and outdoor practices but doesn’t cost more than, say, $250 ??

Abnormally long period grounds for hysterectomy?

For reference, I’m 45, with 4 kids…the baby will be 3 this summer 😅 My cycles over the last year and a half have gotten so unpredictable and heavy and extra crampy and all the things. I was almost 10 weeks late 😬 and took a few tests because I also felt yucky. Then I finally started spotting which lasted 2 days, then bled like a stuck pig for 10 days - like heavy bleeding with clots for 8 of those 10 days. Thennnn it finally tapered off before stopping on day 10. Now it’s been only 2 days of freedom, and I’ve started spotting again!! WTH!! Is this going to be my new normal? Wait and wait and wait and then bleed til I’m anemic?! And if so, will my OBGYN be able to do a hysterectomy for no reason other than heavy/unpredictable periods? I want to be done. Already have mild prolapse. 4 kids have done me in, and I want rid of this saggy uterus. Need advice on what to say to doc to guarantee it gets removed.
