Worth a 2hr drive?

I’ve been looking for a reasonably priced station bag for a while and stumbled across this one on fb marketplace—but it’s 2 hours away. I’m willing to go that far if it’s real, but I know there are a lot of counterfeit stations out there. The pictures are pretty trash, but what do y’all think? Is it worth the drive to check it out if it’s a good deal?

Authentication help!

Can anyone help authenticate this station bag? I’m interested in grabbing this off marketplace but it’s an hour away and it would suck to drive all that way just for it to be fake. Thanks in advance!

Finally got my hands on some Heirloom!

I've been looking for a piece of Fostoria's Heirloom forever, but I never see the topaz pieces in my area and the prices online are way too much for me to spend right now. I know they only made this color from 1959-62, but good lord they're so expensive! I cannot overstate how excited I was to find a picture of this 11 inch swung vase in an estate sale listing–especially because it was hanging out in the back of one pic and was completely blurred out in their fancy portrait mode one! I was absolutely convinced they didn't know what it was, so I drove 30 minutes this morning to see if I could snag it and was successful!

Y'all...I paid 20 DOLLARS for this sucker!!!

I looked on ebay and the recent sold/completed listings for it were $200 or more 😭 The estate sale gods don't bless me often compared to some of the posts I see on here, but I don't think I can complain anymore lol

What do I have here???

I’ve come to seek y’all’s expertise on this alleged Coach purse I picked up at an estate sale for $25! When I bought it last year I knew nothing about Coach bags so I did some googling when I got home and decided it was fake, but I pulled it out and looked at it again today and after scouring the internet for information I’m suddenly not sure. I have a few other authentic Coach bags so I do know what they look like, I swear! This one is just giving me mixed signals.

Reasons that point to it being real:

  • It‘s real leather
  • It’s well constructed
  • Both the external and internal zippers are marked YKK
  • The bullseye mark on the creed indicating it was a retail bag sent to an outlet seems like a weird thing to fake, and I saw several comments on this sub and found a few articles indicating that’s pretty much a guarantee of authenticity

Reasons pointing to it being counterfeit:

  • The width of the stitches on both sides of the bag is uneven
  • While the stitching is generally straight, there are a few spots where they slant upwards—this is most noticeable on the little hang tag
  • The embossing on the hang tag and the creed is shallower and less clear than on my other Coach bags
  • The words “commitment to” on the bottom of the creed patch run together—I had a difficult time photographing this on mine so the last two pictures are NOT mine and were taken from poshmark/etsy listings for the same bag
  • I can’t find a style number (there’s no white tag on the inside in the lining) or name for this bag anywhere

On balance I think it’s probably fake (which I’m totally fine with btw so don’t hold back—I did know there are a lot of counterfeits out there when I bought it but $25 for a leather purse is a great deal and it’s cute!) but the bullseye especially is REALLY throwing me off here. What do y’all think?
