This is fake, right?

Hi all. I am perusing Etsy looking at vintage Coach and came across a listing I think is fake but want to confirm. The creed has style 9146 for which i checked both resources posted here. Also, here is the creed. This is fake, right? Not sure. I want to alert the seller if it is. Says the bag was made in the Dominican Republic. But it has that weird stamp on the creed so not sure. Thanks so much for your help!

Can we ID these bags?

I just go both of these gifted! I feel like the black one would be from the late 90's and the blue one maybe from a Hamiltons Collection in the 2000s? Not super sure :) if you have any hints about the authenticity please let me know!

I think I accidentally started a new obsession…

New to collecting vintage Coach, and these two Soho bags are my first pickups! What surprised me most is how well-made they still feel after all these years. If you could recommend ONE vintage Coach bag that every beginner should hunt for, what would it be—and why?

help me identify!

hi!! i just got this beauty for free, can somebody help me identify what she is? the lady told me it is a passport cover but i’m thinking it is a checkbook cover? thank you!! :)

Scored big this week!!

Found my dream bag (black mini Soho) on marketplace for $30 yesterday 🥹 then today I find a cherry red mini bag and a wristlet at the thrift store.
Does anyone have more info on the turnlock mini bag? I can’t find any online in this color but I’m obsessed with the cherry red!

Vintage Coach purchases on The Real Real

Hey y'all, has anyone purchased any Coach products, vintage or otherwise on The Real Real? If so, would you mind sharing your experience? I have heard mixed reviews regarding this site with other designer brands and their authenticity. I'm looking for a Metropolitan as my everyday work bag, and was very pleasantly surprised by the selection on The Real Real, and their prices compared to Poshmark, Depop, Ebay, Etsy, etc.. Any thoughts would be greatly appreciated!

New to collecting

I’ve been looking to add a wristlet to my bag collection, and that search sent me straight down the vintage Coach rabbit hole. As someone who really cares about leather quality and feel, I quickly realized that modern Coach only produces outlet wristlets, which wasn’t exactly what I had in mind. They still look like they’re great quality. The vintage Travel Collection caught my eye, and the 9972 model turned out to be exactly what I was looking for.

I started with black, then picked up British Tan, and then mahogany. Two of them are from 1996, and the British Tan is from 2000, so these are genuinely well-aged pieces.

I’ve already done some conditioning on all three and may need to re-glue a few tags. I’m also planning to brighten up the brass hardware a bit. Small touch-ups, but worth it.

I’ve never owned wristlets before, but I’m planning to use these in more professional settings. Honestly though, I’m just going to wear them into the ground. I love them that way.

Hiding in plain sight…

Saw this lovely coral Hampton in the case at a local thrift store I frequent a week ago but was crunched for time and there was too long of a check out line so I had to leave it behind. Didn’t expect it to be there today when I dropped donations off, but I got lucky! Only $29.99. Some wear on a couple corners and a few cosmetic issues but overall, it’s in great shape! Thinking of sending it off to be reconditioned. The second bag I got at different area thrift store a couple months ago. Just a sucker for vachetta. Has what I think is some water damage but in my opinion, it just adds to the patina that I expect from this leather. Had to share!
