I’ve been looking for a reasonably priced station bag for a while and stumbled across this one on fb marketplace—but it’s 2 hours away. I’m willing to go that far if it’s real, but I know there are a lot of counterfeit stations out there. The pictures are pretty trash, but what do y’all think? Is it worth the drive to check it out if it’s a good deal?
I've been hunting for a Bonnie Cashin-era design bag for a long time, and I finally came across this 1970s NYC-made Slim Satchel with a blank registration number. The glove-tanned leather is in amazing condition. Absolute dream find!

TLDR; Confirm my suspicions of a counterfeit bag?
I made a purchase on depop of a vintage Coach Abbie in blue. Ive been searching for this color and did notice some weird stamping error on the creed, but otherwise the bag looked great, so I purchased.
Next morning I woke up and that error was nagging at me, I decided to look up the creed number, which I should have done initially, and found it to be a known fake.
I am so disappointed, the bag looked great to me, so I understand how the seller could be thrown off also.
However, I messaged the seller to cancel, and they still shipped it out 13hrs later, didn't respond to me. So now i wait for further disappointment.
So with the stamping error, invalid Creed, and font seems off on the #, I am asking the community to confirm (or deny) my suspicions that this is a fake.
I bought this Bonnie Cashin bag nearly 20 years ago, after dusting it off I started researching, and can't find an image of it anywhere. As far as I can tell it's from 1977. 10" h x 11.5" w (strap drop 12"). I realize it's not Coach, but hopefully it's allowed.
