TLDR; Confirm my suspicions of a counterfeit bag?

I made a purchase on depop of a vintage Coach Abbie in blue. Ive been searching for this color and did notice some weird stamping error on the creed, but otherwise the bag looked great, so I purchased.

Next morning I woke up and that error was nagging at me, I decided to look up the creed number, which I should have done initially, and found it to be a known fake.

I am so disappointed, the bag looked great to me, so I understand how the seller could be thrown off also.

However, I messaged the seller to cancel, and they still shipped it out 13hrs later, didn't respond to me. So now i wait for further disappointment.

So with the stamping error, invalid Creed, and font seems off on the #, I am asking the community to confirm (or deny) my suspicions that this is a fake.

I recently purchased a beautiful and sleek Coach Chrystie. No mention of the main closure for the purse not functioning, but its not working properly. The springlock closure does not catch. I'm assuming its broken, as it just pops open without pulling up on the lock.

I checked the buckleguy site, and the only closures like this, is by LOXX and have a little nub in the center of the button that looks like a nipple, lol. I found another LOXX branded one on etsy that is a closer match, but not exact. I will likely try the etsy one unless.. anyone knows of a closer match?

Also, has anyone DIY this lock replacement before? And would this be easy to do? Ive never removed hardware before on my bags, as ive never needed to.

Any advice would appreciated
