Employment Contract Against Labour Law
To the esteemed people of Qatar, I am seeking some guidance. I was employed by a company under a contract that, in my understanding, contained working hours that may not have been in compliance with Qatar's labor laws. Towards the end of my probationary period, I brought up my concerns regarding these working hours, and subsequently, my employment was terminated, with the reason given as incompetence. However, I believe this was not an accurate assessment of my performance.
I would like to inquire if it would be advisable to pursue legal action against this company, considering I possess the signed contract. Furthermore, I am interested in knowing if there have been successful outcomes in similar situations. Lastly, I am concerned about whether this incident could negatively impact my future employment opportunities within Qatar.
