Final Year BTech Student Here ,What Should I Learn in the Last Year to Get a Good Job?

I know I am late in asking this

want advice from people who recently got placed or are working in tech.

A few things I’d like to know:

What skills actually helped you get interviews and jobs?

How important is DSA compared to development skills?

What kind of projects should I build in the final year?

How should I prepare for off-campus opportunities?

Which technologies are most useful in 2026 hiring?

What would you do differently if you were in final year again?

Any roadmap for balancing college + placement prep + projects?

Current background:

BTech student

Interested in Web Development and coding

Comfortable with basics but need proper direction

Goal: decent software job with good growth
