Can someone help me
I replaced both these switches a few weeks ago at MIL's The one on the left is the kitchen light dimmer (4 can lights and 2 hanging lights). It is wired to a hall dimmer and all is fine. The one on the right is wired to the kitchen nook ceiling fan. I admit I bought a single dimmer when I need a dual. Clearly wrong one so it hums (gawd awful). I can get a dual switch, but what the heck am i looking at wiring? I think the behind wires are the ones I need and the front red and black are somehow part of an additional switch for the kitchen lights. I think they are two different circuits, but were wired together when I took them out. IDK.
If you ask why I replaced them, it's cuz we had them taped up because once they dropped a click, it all went out
