Restaurant AC and Wat Arun or river views? Too much to ask for? Help!

Long story short I'm looking for a restaurant for dinner that has views of the Chao Phraya river and/or (ideally) Wat Arun... there are so many great recs on here already... BUT if there is any way to have AC in the restaurant/at the table? Members of my part are really heat intolerant for medical reasons (not ideal here this time of year I know, they've seen some really great malls, though!).

If river or Wat Arun views are possible, any other recs for a special (doesn't have to be expensive, just a good experience) dinner with air-conditioning? Thank you sooo much in advice!

Non-Fiction Travelogue Books (like Anthony Bourdain style)

I am traveling to Bangkok soon and I love reading non-fiction travel writing, like Anthony Bourdain's books or Hokkaido Highway Blues by Will Ferguson (detailing his journey through Japan). Are there any books like this about Bangkok/Thailand?

Maybe a longshot, but I especially love gonzo journalism-style takes. Could be outsiders or local/returning locals, as long as it's in English.

Thanks so much! This subreddit has been so helpful in planning my trip.
