Songs similar to Starved

Starved (especially the Live from Detroit version) is a killer song that I have loved since it came out. It has a specific feeling to it that I’m not sure how to put in words. I’ve been wanting more songs like and song rec algorithms work for more formal/lyrical/genre things and cannot capture “a vibe” or feeling. Especially the soaring nature, if that makes sense, of Starved. For additional context, some other songs I love that get somewhat in the vicinity (in terms of feeling): This World’s A Giant, Next To You - Ole 60, Rex’s Blues (Rear View Mirror version) - Townes Van Zandt, Holes - Wyatt Flores, Ghost - Miranda Lambert, Ragweed - Koe Wetzel, Don’t Give up on Me, Morning Dew (Cornell ‘77) - the Dead, Idaho - Gregory Alan Isakov, Sleeping Alone - Flatland Cavalry, Billy Stay. While they overlap with Starved in different ways, they all do in some way in my mind. If anyone has any ideas I would love to hear them. Or any other suggestions based off of these songs since I love all of them. I’ll take whatever I can get!

Which direction for Mist - Panorama - 4 Mile?

Planning a trip with some friends in two weeks staying at Housekeeping. I know this is a pretty common hike to do, but I seem to always see it done as 4 mile —> Panorama —> Mist. My idea was to head up the Mist Trail early and come down the 4 mile to avoid the crowds coming down mist. Is there a reason that people usually come up 4 mile? Just want to make sure I’m not missing something that makes coming up 4 mile significantly better.
