Received this as a reason for rejecting my application of PhonePe Black SBI card after kyc and agent verification. I am self employed. Can anyone please help what I should do differently.

I am a self employed (IT) freelancer. My work desk setup is in the corner of the hall of my residence (technically my office area). The desk setup is good enough with all the gadgets. The agent came and took photos of the setup and house number. He asked if the residence and office address is the same and I said yes and showed the desk setup and mentioned I use this area for my office uses. Is there anything specific I should mention when I am applying as a freelancer? Want to understand if the office has to be separate from the residence address or there are other requirements here.

I was a salaried employee and for past 1 year I am a freelancer/contractor with the same company - no pay difference. In my cibil report, I am salaried and all my previous cards were applied & received with salaried status. Should I still apply as salaried when applying new application?

I have heard self employed aren't favourites of credit card fraternity. Hence I was thinking of applying as salaried with banks. I work at the same company but as a contractor now and recievemonth salary salary (but no salary slip). What should I do?

Embarassed that I wasn't offered Bob Eterna Credit Card 🥲 (though eligible). Rejection has been a streak - with this and Tata Neu Infinity CC.

I saw that Bob Eterna Credit Card was lifetime free. I wanted to get it because I don't have a Visa infinite card. Also I thought I would use it for some myntra, flipkart, Amazon sale offers.

I currently am self employed - 28.5L income per annum. And my cibil score is 783 as of today.

Hold the below cards

- SBI Cashback cc

- HSBC Live + cc

- Icici Sapphiro cc

- Flipkart Axis cc

- HDFC Swiggy Blck cc

- HDFC millenia cc

- Axis Supermoney cc (for upi)

I applied through CashKaro and after checks, they only offered me Bob Easy, and Bob Select.

Similarly recently I tried applying for Tata Neu Infinity (HDFC) - but was offered only Tata Neu Plus variant.

Not sure what's happening here and I would have loved to get some acceptance 😅.. seems like I am cursed by the cc gods recently.

Is there anything that I might be doing wrong??

Have a lumpsum of 10L. Should I park it in liquid funds for buying dips? (SIP of 1.6L/month ongoing consistently)

I have heard that buying a dip strategy is not the greatest. 10L parked for the current downward market and consistent SIP on the side? Does this one make sense as a decent strategy?

Or should I invest this lumpsum as small amounts for the next couple of months in the same funds I do SIPs.

What would you suggest?

I have HDFC Millenia, and HDFC Swiggy Blck credit cards. I tried applying for HDFC Tata Neu Infinity Credit card and the hdfc team mentioned that only one co branded card is allowed per customer. Does anyone have more than one co branded card with them?
