[iOS, Beta] Looking for Roku and Google TV owners to test Remote One
Hi, I’m the developer of Remote One, an iPhone remote for Roku and Google/Android TV. I’m looking for testers who will use it on a real TV and tell me exactly what breaks.
What it includes: • Full navigation, volume, channels, mute, power, home and back controls • iPhone keyboard input with copy and paste for supported TV text fields • Personalized streaming shortcuts. Apps appear in your personal list after first use, then you can pin and reorder your favorites • Many different physical remote skins and button layouts • Haptic button feedback • Automatic reconnection after the app has been in the background • Always dark, full screen support for modern iPhones
What I need tested:
- Discovery and first pairing
- Reconnection after backgrounding the app
- Typing letters, numbers and pasted text in a TV search field
- Favorite app discovery, pinning and launching
- Volume, mute, power and navigation
- Skin switching, button placement and Dynamic Island layout
Please reply with your iPhone model, TV or streaming-device model, and what worked or failed. TestFlight feedback, screenshots and recordings are welcome.
