Is this a home invasion loading?
I live in a development that’s quite nice and therefore has become a bit of a hot spot for thieves who’ve previously stolen expensive kit the builders were using, and try car door handles. Nothing of the sort had happened to me, but I bought a car on 15 May which leads me to believe that I’ve drawn some unwanted attention. Fast forward to earlier this morning, when my mum tells me she’s seen these (as pictured) lying about the entrances to our home. She said they might’ve been washed out of the guttering thanks to the lovely wet weather that’s returned to us. However, given that this has never happened in the two years we’ve been living here and that they’re all the same type of nail (not matching any of the ones still screwed tight on our house number and lights etc.), I’m a bit more cynical. Most concerning of all is the revelation that about half an hour ago, our neighbour sent my mum footage of some men scouting near our cars last night. I guess what I’m looking for is someone else that agrees these dots are connecting and some advice as to what the appropriate response might be. Any help is much appreciated. 🙏🏼
