I was wondering who you guys thought the best guide for mount Washington was. I want to do a winter ascent in December to early January. I would also like to do a multi day class with them or a different company right before the ascent if anyone had recommendations. I want to do a route that actually involves ice and mixed climbing and not just hiking.
I want to buy a snowpeak flask and the old medium size is sold out. Does anyone have the new small flat back round flask and like it more than the old medium? I am debating on buying a used old medium flask but one it’s used and two it’s just as much as one brand new.
I want to get into mountaineering and I have family that lives in Seattle. I was thinking I would climb mount baker as my first mountain. What guides would you recommend for teaching skills I could apply to other climbs to get better and potentially solo climb or more technical climbs in the future. I would be going lake July/early August.
