Replacement poles for Snow Peak FAL Pro Air 2?

Any idea where I could find replacement poles for this tent? I bent two of the links pretty badly on one of the two sets. SP just refers to them as "long poles", wondering if there's an OEM replacement I can nab or alternatives anyone else has found. Cheers.

Why is SnowPeak.com so bad with inventory planning?

I’ve observed over months now that whenever SnowPeak.com has special sales going on, some products run out pretty quickly. I’ve worked for major brands in sales planning and e-commerce, and I’ve never experienced something similar with an online shop like theirs and bad sales planning!

Just one example of a couple of items that sold out quickly is the My Table. Other tables are also unavailable, as well as the Tableware Set L Family — the sale version is sold out, while the single version is still available but not on sale.

It’s quite frustrating, especially since I’m also looking at other products to get to at least $200 for free shipping…

Bamboo Folding Shelf Light - any reviews ?

Looking at maybe adding this to my set up… It is the same height as my Entry IGT Table and looks like it folds down nicely. The description says it can be use as a bench too but doesn’t give any weight tolerances… Anyone got any real life experience with this ?

Difference Between Land Nest Shelter

on Snow Peak’s site, it looks like the ivory land nest shelter is $799 while the “natural color” one is on sale for $599. The only difference I see on the site between the two is the ivory has this addition paragraph:

>The Land Nest Shelter in Ivory is made without intentionally added PFAS-based treatments and is designed to meet or exceed leading chemical safety standards.

is the ivory a newer formulation? I can’t imagine its $200 just to get a different color (which imo gets dirtier quicker)…

Micro cast iron pot uses?

So I have the micro oval and a couple others and they are gorgeous but I have only ever used them to make brussel sprouts while camping. Anyone else have any good uses for these? I want to use them more but just not sure what to cook in them that I can't do using other gear, need some inspiration!

I designed an ultralight ultracompact infinitely expandable modular IGT Frame Table System

I'm really proud to show huibenLAB ALU3, my ultralight ultracompact infinitely expandable modular IGT Frame Table system that I designed with three criteria in mind:

  1. A single table has to be expandable from 1.5U - 6U+ with a single component and a seamless uninterrupted IGT rail.
  2. The entire table (even 6U+) has to be a solid block smaller than One IGT Unit to fit in a 1U Gear Bag.
  3. Tables or Legs can be securely stacked vertically.

Combining the philosophies of ultralight backpacking and modular shelving with the versatility of Snow Peak's expansive IGT system and the feel of a luxury Apple product I was able to get the entire pictured setups including all gear and tables fit into the 1U Gear Bag with even 6U+ frames taking up virtually no space at all. It's perfect for bikepacking, motocamping, or just freeing up space to bring significantly more gear.

It even has built in support for IGT Connection Hook Extensions, TTA Frame threads, and 1/4" Pole threads all around. Legs are compatible with Snow Peak's extensions and frames so existing gear can be height matched while being significantly lighter and more portable.

The 3U setup with 330mm legs (35cm table height) is 8x smaller in volume and 4x lighter in weight than the Snow Peak 3U Collapsible with 300/400mm legs! At only 41.6 x 6.4 x 4.7cm & 1160g (16.4 x 2.5 x 1.8" & 2lb 9oz) stored, and 79 x 43 x 35cm (31.1 x 16.9 x 13.8") set up.

If anyone is interested, I'm going to produce ALU3 kits in NYC so they're available for a limited discounted preorder until 5/31 on my brand's webstore huibenLAB!

Is it just me!?

Is it just me or is Snow Peak USA’s customer service email basically nonexistent? I ordered gear a few weeks ago and all I ever got was an email saying the order was labeled and packaged with zero updates since. I’ve emailed multiple times and gotten no response. It’s been almost 3 weeks at this point. Pretty frustrating for a brand at this price point.
I feel like I’ve gotten better responses from outdoor companies on ali baba and ali express

Floga running on wood pellets. Your experience?

Just reading up on the MK Stove and Rigel when i came across this image of a Floga being run on what appears to be wood pellets(? .... with the large coal bed probably)

I'm finding it difficult to locate any media, youtube reviews or anyone using a Takibi+Floga+wood pellets in this way. Yet i came across what looks like a official image from a Wood&Burn SP collab article.

  • Has anyone else run their Taikibi+Floga in this way? What has been your experience?
  • Are the holes in the coal bed small enough to prevent pellets from falling through?
  • Would it be prudent to add a mesh layer (from those cheap mesh firepits) above the coal bed to prevent pellets from falling through?
  • I understand that pellets already burn very hot and fast and the Floga would also act as a multiplier bringing up the heat even higher. Would this have a negative effect on the overall lifetime of a Takibi and Floga?

What would be some Pros/Cons of using this fuel type in such a setup?

tldr: Where i am, pellets are $1/kg while kindling is often double. if i could cheat a little with pellets, then toss in whole logs, it would bring my overall fuel costs down significantly.

Got the trailer build out for its first over night!

I didn’t bring a lot of gear but I wanted to get the trailer build out for its maiden voyage a week or so ago. Just did a quick 3U IGT with flat burner set up for cooking and coffee. Fun fact, my Forester was a limited model that was actually made in Japan and shipped over here for the U.S. market. It’s one of the few all black everything vehicles that Subaru made and has black leather interior

Has anyone that’s going to SPW in May received a welcome letter? They usually send out a welcome email with information on available workshop almost a month in advance. Haven’t seen one come through in my inbox besides the survey couple weeks back.

Is it normal for the low beach chair to creak when you move around?

Just got a low beach chair and I love it. But I also notice it makes a bit of noise when you shift around - creaking and also metallic sounds/clanking. Is this normal?
