
2,500 RPM Buzz/Rattle on 2024 Trialmaster
Had a buzzing/rattling noise during acceleration that occurred between 2,000 and 2,500 RPM. Turned out it was the transfer case shifter cable rubbing against the heat shield and transfer case. The factory plastic clip had come loose and caused the cable to shift. It was dangerously close to the front driveshaft.
Re-secured the cable and the buzz/rattle is gone.
I’ve ordered the Agile Offroad bracket to hopefully not have to deal with this again.
