DMV testing locations recs?
Hello all,
I’m looking for some updated testing location recs. I’m willing to go anywhere in the SGV.
So far I’ve done:
1st test in Pasadena 🥀
2nd test in El Monte

Hi,
we’re four guys, and we’ve put together Westminster’s restaurant scene in an app called Vota. The concept is simple: you see two places side by side (for example Famille vs. Kachina Southwestern Grill), you choose the place you’d rather go to, and the ranking updates instantly. The more people vote, the more accurate the list gets over time. There are still a few duplicates here and there, but I’m continuously cleaning up the data.

Y'all avoid Bingz this weekend
There's a new Chinese sandwich and noodle chain that just opened up it's first spot in San Gabriel this weekend. I saw an ad on Instagram and they're giving out cute plushies with purchase but holy shit the line is insane.
I got here at 11:15am, it's currently 1pm, and there are still about 25 orders ahead of me. I was expecting the line to take just maybe 30-45 minutes but at this point it's looking like well over 2 hours.
The food looks good and the prices are actually really good. Just absolutely not worth this wait in line and thought I'd save you all from heat stroke waiting in line

35M in West Covina looking to meet new people
35M in West Covina. Figured I’d give this a shot and see what happens.
Looking to meet some new people around the SGV and hopefully make some actual friends to hang out with. Most of my friends have their own schedules, families, work, etc. these days, so it would be cool to meet some new people who are down to get out of the house and do stuff.
I’m pretty open to whatever hiking, grabbing food or drinks, sporting events, beach days, bowling, pool, concerts, pickleball, random day trips, or honestly just finding something interesting to do on a weekend.
Would be cool to eventually have a mixed group of people around the same age, but I’m not trying to force anything. Just looking for good people and seeing where it goes.
I’m in West Covina but don’t mind driving around the SGV/Pasadena area.
If anyone else is in the same boat, hit me up. Maybe we can get a few people together and actually plan something instead of making another group chat that dies after three days lol.
