I've used a lot of tents, the Alpha Breeze is the first with the guy points with those metal loops. The guy lines are nice, I usually tie a bowline to the guy point and have the adjustment off the stake. However the instructions on the AB say to loop the line through the guy point and back through the adjustment piece then tie a loop for the stake. I've never seen that before. Is that just a different way, or is there a specific reason to do that?

Nearest I can figure is that your guy line adjustment is closer to the adjustment point and it doesn't have to try and move around the stake if that is down in the ground.

Also, too many overhand knots :)

Been doing a resto on a ‘79 P200e and I’m wanting to replace the “racing exhaust” with a stock looking suitcase muffler like the Road 2.0. SIP has a solid deal on one right now, but I’m assuming there are tariffs on it. Anyone ordering from SIP and dealing with that in the US?

Received the insiders birthday email with a free $30 gift. I have received nothing since being on the elite level. I see stuff everyone gets and wonder why. Anyway I try to use the reward and nothing in my rewards list. So I email Leatherman and hear nothing for like a week. I check back, all my reward points are gone and they knocked me down to Select. It’s almost like they reset my whole profile. Oh well.
