1. Make sure to progress the main story (areas items and other game mechanics are locked behind them) some are insanely useful early game (movement speed tools etc).

2 . Save at least idk 40 flowers in spring and maybe a few more you really like. This helps with decorating and when the beehives get unlocked they max out at 16 honey so having just 2 hives is 640 passive daily profit. This is especially important bc they get sparce in the summer but they also make great gifts for pretty much all characters and i recommend using some for early gifting too.

3. This touches on something I learned a little late but if you scythe the grassy areas outside your farm things are more likely to spawn. i encountered a sort of "dead" period of time where almost nothing at all was spawning in the summer. When i started clearing logs stone and grassy stuff things started spawning again after a few in game days though flowers in summer it seems is more rare than in spring.

4. Save at least 1 diamond, they are worth 2 000 and very tempting to sell but theres an early request the gets you 10 000!! I think also save at least 1 golden egg but i havnt gotten that request yet.

5. Also save at least one of everything inlcuding non, one, and two starred crops as well as bugs and fish. its also a good idea to stock pile at least one abundant fish and bug type for feeding a specifc crop that requests to eat them (i usually save those egg floaty things and the whisper fish for that crop).

6. i would bulk plant blood and white grapes and profit off the wine from kegs but also for early game energy you can craft blood grape juice which gives 40 energy. you can also bulk plant crops for gazpacho for early game energy which is tomato and onion and also i think 40 energy

7. be sure to clear out an area before going to purchase and place your well barn or other farm buildings.

8. get your ax and pick ax upgraded asap it makes collecting larger amounts of wood and ore faster and for less energy. of course unlocking the spells are helpful too but i found getting mana early game to be difficult (id save the mana for watering special crops) and of course progressing the main story is the fastest way to the first mine area and also the 2nd mine area which took forever for me to notice and find. Its behind a large plain rock left of Fionas house behind your farm. you can actually see it on the map i just never noticed. i think it requires at least the copper pick ax to get in but it has rose and moon quartz in it and also dig spots and fishing.

Oh yeah always do a round of nightly dig spots and beach combing too they give so many helpful things early game (money seeds diamonds) shells are great for super early game income too. Also process literally everything try not to sell raw crops or animals products, make and cook stuff. Also furniture making is another option for early game income but i dont really like spending resources id rather keep them for decorating lol but hey if youre in a pinch or dont care do it!

9. i dont really have a tip for watering but be as thorough as possible and try to go over everything at least twice for me i hate when crops get out of sync and its so hard to tell with some crops if its watered so i go over things 2 or 3 times agg really wish it was easier to tell im def ready to get a certain spell which would greatly help with this but im early with producing daily mana and still not stablized.

Also the house has unlimited storage but the dialogue for it could veeadily missed. also found it helpful to craft several storage boxes for outside to keep things i dont want used in recipes and to keep seeds and fertilizer and fodder stuff mainly i did this so i wouldnt have to keep going in and back out of the house 20 times a night lol

10. as for the cheekens and their running around like they have no heads get into the barn as soon as you go outside at the start of the night. its so much easier to pet them before they get out. fencing works too but thats a lot of resources for early game. personally im still letting mine roam and im at the end of summer enventually ill fence them in though they are also def getting in the way of things haha

11. for bug catching mostly be patient. you can creep walk if possible (very lightly moving joy stick) try to positon in their path or just chase and corner them. they get me in a tizzy but try not to swipe unless youre pretty sure youll get it bc its such an early game stamina eater. also it takes a while to get the net too just keep progressing the story (follow the map sparkle areas). i think the devs are fixing this issue also to where it wont take stamia if you swing and miss. which yay.

12. there is a way to increase or even shorten the night length just keep progressing the story and youll get it sooner than youd think.

13. Wheat truly is golden. Ollebrod is where its at they sell for a whopping 1100 nonstarred and 1400 for one starred and its just wheat (flour, bread, and beer) also the Googly Soup (theres an exploit here maybe im not sure for some reason its taking the starred common mushroom which is crazy abundant in the mines i had like 150 starred and 200 regular ones but its not taking the garlic powder stuff from the inventory and still counting it as starred idk) i just made 32 of them and they sell for 620 each which is 19 840💀 and i still have 74 starred mushrooms left plus all the nonstarred one thats some crazy money right there.

so far im really liking the game there are def some needed quality of life changes and bug fixes but i think yhe dev really put a lot of heart and soul into this game. its unique fun has good pacing and the aesthetics and colors are so good. i cant wait to really start decorating and expanding things and seeing what other players do. also if you have any tips or tricks or want to show off your house or farm (bc id love the inspo) drop them below!!!

Firstly I've been dealing with health issues along with ida for a while. i will say its most likely from a combo of chronic blood loss from gastro tract and iron deficiency. Its been a whole lot worse the since 2018 though. 7 months after infusions im at a critical hemoglobin again my ferritin has dropped as low as 1.2 and dropped from 26.1 to 5.1 in only 6 weeks. my hemoglobin recently went from 12.6 to 6.3 in 7 months. this is after 3 iron infusions 2 of which i had reactions to (they were the shorter acting ones i think injectafer and venefor).

I had two different reactions. To one i developed SIRS about 3 days after had 104.7 fever was hospitalized had to get spinal tap blood patch my potassium tanked and made my arms lock up etc it was horrible. they said it could have been from the iron but just diagnosed the SIRS. To the others the reaction happened about 30 minutes after the infusion completed. The 1st time my ankles and knees became very painful and hard to move and got swollen it hurt to bear weight. it was gone by the next few days except some residual swelling and soreness. The 2nd time i developed the same symptoms except it was worse pain and swelling and non itchy hives welts all over my legs showed up. again gone in a couple of days.

June 8th i found out my hemoglobin was 6.3 and was advised to go to the er i waited a bit because i needed to get some things done and had remote work to finish but went in to a small er June 18th.

Now before i get into that i had out patient infusions of iv dextran over like 6 hours and was completely fine no synptoms at all (hematologist noted i could not have the other irons that caused the swelling and hive stuff).

Back to the hospital they got me some blood and they said the doctor wanted me to get iron too and i talked at length with the pharmacist about my past reactions he went into my history noted the types and reactions and said the er prescribed ferrilcete glucanate or something like that i had not tried that one but expressed dextran was likely the only safe one i could take and he said they didnt prescribe that one in the er (idk) so i said well i havnt tried so maybe itll be okay and he said they would slow the push to 2 hours.

a little into the infusion i started getting overstimulated sad and anxious but didnt connect the dots that maybe that was the start of a reaction but about 30 minutes after the infusion the physical symptoms started and they were absolutely horrible one of the worst things ive ever experienced in my life. the pain was so severe in my joints stomach and body. i had whole body non itchy hives/welts even on my face. my hands wrists fingers ankles toes knees calves all swelled i couldnt move my ankles i couldnt move my wrists ankles toes or fingers my finger tips turned blue they clawed up. it felt like my joints were exploding any movement or weight bearing sent painful shocks the pain had me sounding like i was in labor they pushed iv benadryl and i felt my chest open up i didnt even realize it was constricted but then the nausea and pain from that (i have peptic ulcers and bleeding gi tract) i was freaking the absolute hell out. i was screaming i couldnt help it then the vomit came but i couldnt use my hands or fingers to even hold a bag the nurses were freaking out why they didnt hold something out for me to vomit in idk bc i said i was gonna be sick they just threw a blue bag on the bed and they left me alone like that i threw up all over the bed myself the left me in vomit for a while they did eventually bring iv pain meds and eventually the severe stomach pain subsided after vomiting but i felt so bad and was swollen and immobile for hours then it started letting up.

its the 20th today im still swollen my whole body is sore like ive been hit by a truck. i still feel awful but i left ama they admitted me but had to transport me to the bigger hospital where im sure they were planing to do gi scopes. i was in so much pain and so uncomfortable and couldn't sleep i had to leave as soon as i was able to walk again.

im so annoyed by this crap. why cant my body just do what its supposed to? im so traumatized but still here and honestly hopefully my numbers go up but the transfusion only got my hemoglobin up .4 points which isnt good. i think im prob actively bleeding. im resting at home feel like hell but idk i guess ill go to the big hospital but i feel like theyd probably laugh in my face and say well you were well enough to go home why are you back and theyll just send me home idk. i had no clean clothes or underwear couldnt sleep and i needed sleep desperately.

so idk ive been sick for a long time and often sick enough i probably should be in the hospital but i really dont like being there or going to doctors much anymore its like pulling teeth ive been begging for help and answers for over a decade. theres a lot off in my bloodwork too thats been off for years and no mention/explanation/investigation. but anyways idk what this is a rant a cry for help all i want to know is im not alone and has anyone else experienced a reaction like this? i feel like the reaction was almost like rhabdo. like it attacked my joints and muscles. all i know is unless its iv dextran over 6 hours dont put it in me bc omg never again.
