Day 15 of ranking every charm in Hollow Knight!
After calculating the votes, Baldur Shell is placed in C Tier.
Baldur Shell is really just okay. It's pretty much just Warding Bell from Silksong, just worse.
Next Up: Grubsong.

Baldur Shell is really just okay. It's pretty much just Warding Bell from Silksong, just worse.
Next Up: Grubsong.
After calculating the votes, Thorns of Agony is placed in D Tier.
Thorns of Agony is just not good. It completely blocks your I-frames, keeps you stuck in place, covers up part of your screen, and doesn't even deal that much damage. It deserves its place.
Next Up: Baldur Shell.
After calculating the votes, Sprintmaster is placed in C Tier.
Sprintmaster is just okay. It does it's job, but it's not very useful in many situations.
Next Up: Thorns of Agony.
After calculating the votes, Lifeblood Heart is placed in D Tier.
Lifeblood Heart isn't the worst charm in the world, but it's definitely not something to write home about. Lifeblood just isn't that good.
Next Up: Soul Catcher.
After calculating the votes, Quick Focus goes in A Tier.
To be honest, I thought there would be a lot more S Tier votes then there actually were. This is a pretty good charm, even though I haven't used it very much.
Next Up: Shaman Stone.
Ive had my AC adapter ever since I got my Switch back in 2019, but it no longer charges. Not just my switch, but anything I plug it in to. Do I need to replace it, or what?
(The Switch im talking about in this situation is Switch 1)
After calculating the votes, Steady Body is placed in A Tier.
Steady body is a pretty good charm. I'll admit, it took a while to get used to, but now I never want to take it off. On top of that, it works very well with Quick Slash.
Next Up: Quick Focus.
After calculating the votes, Wayward Compass gets S Tier.
Even though I've beaten the game multiple times without even using a map, Wayward Compass is still a very nice charm to have equipped.
Next Up: Gathering Swarm.
After calculating the votes, Fury of the Fallen is placed comfortably in B Tier.
This might be the charm I have used the least. I'll be honest. I can see how people would like this charm, and I especially see people like speedrunners and TAS using this.
Next Up: Wayward Compass.
Yup. I'm jumping right back into another tier list, cause I'm bored.
The rules are simple. Cast your votes in the comments below, I'll take the top 5 comments at the end of the day, and add them up using a point system (S=6, C=3, etc.). I will then take the average of those points, round if needed, and put it on the list based on the number the calculations give. Understand? Good.
Next Up: Fury of the Fallen.
After calculating the votes, Spider Strings goes in B Tier.
I know it looks weird, and I thought it was weird too. I thought everyone would agree that Spider Strings should go straight to F, but apparently a lot of people actually enjoy having this tool around. I personally don't.
Next Up: Silkspeed Anklets.
2 Tools Remain.
After calculating the votes, Scuttlebrace goes into D Tier.
There is almost no situation where you would need to do anything with the Scuttlebrace. You dash slower, and yes, technically you can parry with it, but just use Cross Stitch or literally just run away.
Next Up: Ascendant's Grip
4 Tools Remain.
After calculating the votes, the Magnetite Dice go into S+ Tier.
Magnetite Dice in my opinion, is the greatest yellow tool you can get your hands on. Don't even get me started on how many bosses it clutched up against. And getting it before Act 2?!? Bonkers.
Next Up: Scuttlebrace.
5 Tools Remain.
After calculating the votes, Shell Satchel goes into S Tier.
I don't use red tools that much, but even I can agree that this is a pretty great tool. Getting usually a lot more capacity on your tools is great.
Next Up: Magnetite Dice.
6 Tools Remain.
