[Hobby], Creative Director seeking team members for narrative RPG
Hey r/INAT,
My name is Sebastian. I'm a 16 year old creative director with a fully developed game concept looking for passionate developers to help bring it to life.
The Game: The God Project is a linear narrative RPG set in 2153 in the State of Caldera — a corporate-rebuilt, partially flooded former Florida. You play as Vin Martinez, a Puerto Rican orphan who was kidnapped at 12, turned into a living weapon by the most powerful corporation in the eastern United States, and escapes prison with the help of their little sister who leads the fastest-growing religious movement in the city and has been carrying a secret about what Vin represents to her faith for six months.
What We're Building: We are starting with Act 1 — a 4 to 6 hour linear narrative experience covering the prison break, the introduction of Arceus's flooded Underpool district, and the first chapter of Vin and Nicole's story. Think A Plague Tale in scope. Completable, polished, and a proof of concept for the larger vision.
What Already Exists:
- A complete 86-page master document covering the full world, all characters, complete story beats for Acts 1 through 3, gameplay systems, art direction, sound design, dialogue scripts
- A defined scope, a realistic timeline, and a creative director who knows every detail of this world
The World: Caldera is one of the most culturally specific game worlds I've seen developed at this stage. The Underpool Vin's home district is built from the Caribbean diaspora communities of South Florida. The music is Corriente and Marejada, genres invented for the game with real roots in Puerto Rican and Afro-Caribbean tradition. The food, the language, the street culture all of it is specific, lived-in, and unlike anything currently in the genre.
Roles We're Looking For:
- 3D Environment Artist
- Concept Artist
- Sound Designer / Composer (ideally with Caribbean or Latin American music background)
- Narrative Designer
- UI/UX Designer
Compensation: This is currently a hobby project with revenue share on any commercial release. We are building this because we believe in it. No one is getting paid upfront — including me.
What I Bring: I am the creative vision. I know every character, every story beat, every detail of this world. My job is making sure what gets built stays true to what this game is supposed to be and answering every creative question the team has at any hour. The complete master document goes to every serious applicant.
Who I'm Looking For: People who want to build something that matters. This game has a story worth telling — about family, about what institutions do to people, about a community that built something real in the water when no one came to help them. If that sounds like the kind of project you want your skills on, reach out.
Contact: DM me here or email panikkinn@gmail.com
I'll send the full creative document to anyone who wants to read it before deciding.
PORTFOLIO: this is my first project and do not have a portfolio of any kind
