I am in my first year and I tried to defer my chem exam because I got into a car accident. My DSA form got rejected and I was sitting at a 74% before my final (50% weighted) but now there’s an F on my transcript and the course director emailed “if rejected DSA form then petition it”, I did the petition and now I’m waiting to hear back if I got approved or not. My deferred exam date is June 5th but I don’t know if I can do it if I don’t hear back from the petition I sent.

Right now I’m studying as if I got approved and I don’t know if I’m wasting my time with this.

Please any advice rn will help. What do I do?
