My son was diagnosed a month ago at 10 years old, we've kept him pretty stable these past few weeks, with the help of the honeymooning stage and a high protein low to medium carb intake and walks. He's been complaining that his hair has been falling lately. He'll run his hands through it and a few strand will fall, this wouldmt happen before.

Has anyone experienced this before? He has an apt with his Endo June 4th so we will discuss this, just looking for insight.

I'm thinking since we did such a drastic change in diet, he used to have a huge sweet tooth, maybe his body is lacking in certain vitamins and nutrients.
