My family’s cat of 16 years died today (we think she was older than 16 cause we guessed her age when we got her). Bella was a calico that was just as sweet as she was b*tchy. You could tell she thought she was better than everyone, & we would jokingly call her Queen Bella (or Queen B*tch).

(Michigan) I found what I think is a NewYork carpenter queen (Camponotus novaeboracensis?) today & thought naming this queen after the one that just passed would be a good tribute to her 👑
Any name suggestions that are similar to Bella?
Also open to any tips for caring for this species tyy 🙏

This copy was originally my dad’s, he was given this for Christmas from my grandma in 1991. He eventually gave it to me when I was young, but I forgot about it until recently when I started unpacking my books.

A quick google search & I only found one listing of this version on a website called Stella & Rose’s Books (Stellabooks.com) but it doesn’t have any information on this specific version and/or how rare/common it is.
