I have a Ritz-Carlton Anniversary Free Night Award worth up to 85K points that expires on 03/11/27.

The terms say the award needs to be “confirmed at the time of booking,” but I’m unclear whether the stay itself has to happen before the expiration date.

For example:
- Can I book a stay in May 2027 if I make the reservation before 03/11/27?
- Or does the actual hotel stay need to occur before the expiration date?

Has anyone successfully booked a stay after the cert expiration date as long as the reservation was made beforehand?
