Keeps coming back every 250/300 miles
Got a 99 chevy silverado 1500.
P0442 keeps coming back every 250/300 miles.
Purge, vent, charcoal can, hoses, gas cap, sensor top of fuel sending: all looks fine & they're fairly new.
During fuel sending unit replacement lock ring and rubber gasket was replaced which was 3 or 4 years ago.
Guess my question is that (can that lock ring area cause this small leak every 250/300 miles?? I've been clearing the code to find the frequency of CEL. Any hints/help is appreciated.
