Progress photos

Took some more progress pictures.

It is really interesting to see how different the plants are growing in the raised garden beds vs the grow bags/pots.

The grow bags have a different brand of soil, mixed with bone meal and worm castings. The garden beds have bone meal, worm castings, perlite and kelp meal.

Grow bags get watered less frequently because they tend to stay wet longer. They all get the same nutrients and fertilizers. They also get probably 1/2 to 3/4 of time in the sun compared to the garden beds. (Ran out of room in that area and had to come up with a solution).

Any idea what can cause such a difference?

As mentioned above there are differences between the two set up, but would that be the culprit for it all?

Purple massacre

One of my nicest looking peppers so far.

Others are growing too but not as great looking right now. Working out kinks of having curled and ugly looking new leaves. Watering less and trying to put them on a better fertilizer schedule. I have 16 varieties growing, some in 5 gallon grow bags, some in raised garden beds, some in pots. Funny that the best looking one is in a small plastic pot.

Still looking for gophers

Logan is still desperately searching for gophers but has yet to catch one lol His excitement never stops though.

He is doing great in barn hunt too, we will probably get back into competitions in the fall.

Lime tree

Hello!

Can you guys help me out with my lime tree?

I got it a bit over a year ago alongside a lemon and kumquat tree. Both the lemon and kumquat are doing great and producing.

However the lime there has not grown a single lime in the past year. It flowers and then all the tiny fruits fall off. All the new leaves are also yellow and there isn’t a lot of new growth in there.

I fertilize every 3 months with citrus fertilizer.

Thank you!
