Is this nut okay?
New to guitars and i noticed that there is some yellow flaking on the sides of the synthetic nut. Is this normal?
Also, there is some gray residue on the sides near the fingerboard as well, is that normal tooo?

I was thinking tort but maple and blue are already very contrasting colors so idkk
Got my first guitar, after weeks of research I decided to skip the entry level and splurge a lil and get a decent guitar to start my journey!
2022 strat in Tidepool color 💙
Sterling by MM Cutlass CT50 HSS vs Squier CV ’70s HSS vs Sire S5 HSS
I want hss and maple fingerboard. Under $500-600 and have short listed these three but cant decide
The Sterling seems great on paper, but idk if I like the color. Also, is it just me, or does the roasted maple fretboard look super dry in every photo?
The Squier is probably the safest pick, it checks basically every box for me. The only catch is that it only comes in black. 🫤 Nothing wrong with black, it just feels a little… plain
The Sire is the one that keeps catching my eye. I forgot to include the white finish, which I also really like. My only hesitation is that it’s the most expensive of the three, and I haven’t been able to find many reviews.
Bought topshelf from maikoh
Peach maraschino (indico)
UPDATE: went back and got it replaced
Are they gonna keep increasing?
I feel like its going up by $0.20-0.30 every week for the past 3 months
