SP404MK2 sat on my shelf for a few years because I couldn’t fully wrap my head around the workflow.

Decided to take it with me on a 6 month trip through Laos and Thailand instead of leaving it at home again.

Somewhere along the way the workflow started to click. Probably because all I had with me was the SP, headphones, and a laptop.

Now I’m 16 tracks deep into a beat tape, recently played a short set at a coffee shop in Laos, and uploaded the recording to SoundCloud.

Played some tracks live with sample chops, resampling, and finger drumming directly from the SP404MK2.
