AITA for getting mad boyfriend preferred sitting in bar vs see me?

Reality check needed: I was out of town on business for most of this week. It was an exhausting trip, I barely slept, was at client’s beck and call. After a flight cancellation and numerous delays, I just couldn’t wait to get home and missed my boyfriend; we’ve been together for 5 years. Last night before boarding my flight, I asked him if he would come over when I got home @11:30PM. He immediately said no. He would see me tomorrow. And added he needed to be in bed early and would be asleep by the time I got home.

I felt really disappointed, and told him so especially since he often goes out until 3/4am (works in hospitality). He in turn accused me of starting a fight. He said if he was out until 3am, I would have every right to be pissed him. Guess what? He was! And I’m pretty angry. Telling me no he can’t see me especially when I was home @11:45 PM and then sitting on a barstool until 3am shows zero respect and that I am a very low priority to him. He says I’m wrong. That I’m the problem. We’re both over 40 for context. And he wasn’t working last night, just getting drunk at a local bar. AITA?
