In the birthday scene Jimmy talks about how Curlys going off to bigger and better while leaving the rest of the crew behind but he also admits that Daisuke will be fine because „mommy and daddy have him covered“. It’s made clear that Jimmy and Curly have a history together and that’s probably why he feels particularly betrayed by Curly but I just find it funny that he didn’t even insult Daisuke at all even though the crew getting laid off has no impact on him as he was only an intern. If anything Daisuke probably would’ve gone on to be more successful then Curly as he’s only young and, considering one of the last manned freighters company’s just got shut down, I think engineers are in much higher demand then pilots.

(Im new to the fandom so be kind please) When Anya locks herself in medical she dosen‘t expect Jimmy or Daisuke to be able to break in, so what did she expect to happen to Curly after she was gone? Even if you assume she knew about the vent system the game confirms that she knew the vent was dangerous as Swansea says that she almost „skewered her leg“ (that might not be the exact phrasing). I also think the fact that when she was talking to Jimmy through the door it was deliberately left ambiguous if she was planing harm herself or Curly might also hint at her wanting to take him with her. Although it’s clear she care(s/d) for Curly you could also just as easily make the argument for her resenting him, show by her bluntness of „Captain, I told you“ and the fact she thinks Curly is the one that crashed the ship in the first place.
