Hi guys, im newer to building automation but have been curious as to why IDEC relays are primarily used as the dry contacts for various applications. Is it because they are bacnet compatible? Any help is appreciated.

Hi guys new to building automation coming from an hvac technician background. My compnay uses 22/3 for bacnet as it is JCI protocol but would like to understand what wire gauge is used for Mstp. And what exactly it is. Any help is appreciated.
