Attention controls nerds! Has anyone seen this device before? Trying to confirm the architecture of the wiring and or the part#

Here’s what I know:

It’s connected to the RS232 port of a Siemens SC1511-BD (which is a rebadged Advantech UBC-330), which leads me to believe it is most likely a RS-232 to 485 converter, however I cannot confirm yet.

Have to throw up the Bat Signal on this head scratcher. All help is appreciated!
