Partner Clothing
Salam! Eid Mubarak sisters, help a brother out.
It’s a sensitive question trying to understand my partner and her clothing choices.
My partner, who prays, Alhamdullilah, and is not hijabi, won’t stop wearing revealing clothes.
What do you as hijabi or non-hijabi, feel when they wear:
- Yoga pants without covering the glutes.
- A see through shirt (I couldn’t tell if it showed cleavage she sent a photo that was cropped).
- High waist pants.
- Cap sleeve shirts.
What is it? Validation? Attention? Impression? Idk, educate me. I’ve never had to talk about clothing with my sisters.
She always gets extra care, words of motivation, assurance, help with her work, humor, exclusivity, 3eediyeh, and gifts. I made it crystal clear that if we’re going to be together, I’m not comfortable with skin being visible as I come from a moderately religious family, plus I don’t trust the looks of MEN, and she agreed.
She constantly says “I’m soooo lucky” her words not mine الله يشهد.
** Note** she constantly insisted on a relationship for a year due to being living abroad & we’re both citizens of the country (We didn’t want to go the sponsorship route so we proceeded).
