What Shoes To Recommend For A Beginner Runner (Losing Weight, Fatty Liver)
Evening! As the title says, I am currently in need of suggestions for some running shoes.
For a bit of context, I used to be part of a dance company, and my exposure to running (of sorts) was usually a 10-15min walk-run-sprint warm-up, followed by stretches— and conditioning depending on the date. So I had a physical outlet or exercise, but recently I’ve sustained an injury that prevented me from doing any dancing or other medium-heavy exercises/activities. As such, I got fat and was diagnosed with fatty liver— non-alcoholic thankfully.
So… I’m currently around 64kg and need to lose weight— can’t dance a lot since I still experience back pains —and running is what I’ve chosen for to lose that. I got a budget to buy a NB Rebelv5 or Adidas EvoSL, but maybe they are “pricey” or “extreme” for a beginner, when I could buy a much more reliable and affordable shoes with spare change to buy new equipment (weights, sportsware, etc).
Quite a long one but, yeah. Any suggestions?
P.S. As for what type of running? Idk what the terms are but I suppose a “base” or “long run”? Lol are these term right?
