Electrical Nightmare
Hey everyone, I have a 1993 240sx coupe that has been experiencing electrical gremlins!
One day I was driving down the highway and when I went to look at my oil pressure (electrical gauge) it was dead, along with 2 other gauges (volts and spedo). The power mirrors stopped working aswell.
Important part lol:
I got home and checked fuses, nothing is blown, but the fuses that are supposed to have power with the key foward, show 0 volts. But some things that are switched power work, ie: fuel pump, ecu ect.
I went under the hood to check my fusible links, pulled the FL30A IGN SW link and then the rest of the car lost power lol so i assume it’s not related to that link.
Ignition switch in the steering column tested good for volts aswell.
I’ve removed just about every single bit of unnecessary aftermarket wiring - guages, speakers, headunit, fans, sensors. Problem is still there :/
It’s like half the driver side kick panel fuse box has no power to it ever. Has anyone experienced this before?
Please feel free to ask questions and or make fun of me 🗿
