hi, this is my first post ever on reddit. I’m one of those people who is very introverted on the internet. Anyway, I have been seeing a psychologist for a while and she recently diagnosed me with BPD. I can see where she is coming from especially with the emotional irregularities but when I told my family about my diagnosis they told me not to tell anyone about it because it would change the way people perceive me. Has anyone else had this experience? Is there anything I should know about BPD? Glad to be here, thanks.
