Is this a slime that I raised?

A couple of weeks ago, I was outside looking for slime molds when I spotted something on the moss growing on a dogwood tree here in East Tennessee that I thought might be one. I ran inside to grab a container so I could collect a sample, but by the time I got back, it had disappeared.
There was still a tiny bit of residue left on the moss where it had been, so I carefully collected the moss and cultured it on oats. Over the following weeks, I removed the fuzzy molds that appeared, separated cultures when needed, and patiently cared for them. This is the result after a couple of weeks.

I rescued this little one!

I found this little one in my dishwater this morning. I carefully scooped him out and placed him on a paper towel with a bottle cap and a Q-tip soaked in honey water nearby, then tucked him in with my indoor plants to rest. At first, his back legs were unresponsive, and I wasn’t sure he’d make it. I came home later, and the strong little one had pulled through! 💛

I harvested a bunch of mulberry leaves to feed to my isopods. I’m going to boil them and then dehydrate them to store long-term. Is this how I should do it and how do I rehydrate them to feed to my pods?

Here are my first ever isopods! :) i hand selected wild ones I found in my backyard to domesticate.

I told them I’m sorry for raiding their colonies. It’s for their own good. :)

Is this a springtail?

I found this neon pink beauty in my fire pit coals in East Tennessee. I put it in a container to try to culture it. I just don’t know if it is a springtail because it doesn’t seem to spring instead in scrunches up. If it is a springtail is it possible to culture with just one?

I seen a blue bee

I was outside watering my tomato plants and I seen a metallic blue bee on my potato flower and I had to run inside to get my phone when I came back out. I couldn’t find it but then it came back so I got a video. It’s not the best but it’s what I could get.

I’m new to isopod collecting. While gardening, I noticed huge variation in the ones in my compost and decided to start breeding my favorites. Today I found some gray isopods with orange speckles. Is that a genetic variation or a disease?
