Victron RV-C Compatibility
I recently installed a Victron MPPT and two lithium batteries in my RV. Previously, there was a low capacity Go Power MPPT that communicated to my onboard BMPro multiplex system. I lightly read about how adding a Victron CerboGX can allow for ecosystem compatibility with the charge controller and BMPro. I connected the Cerbo to the old RV-C communication cable (previously hooked to Go Power MPPT), by splicing pins 4&5 of an RJ45 into the old RV-C cable. I programmed the Cerbo in VRM for all VE.Can ports to allow RV-C 250 bit; I also confirmed solar input and battery charging. Unfortunately, nothing on the BMPro coming through. Any ideas or is it just not compatible? I don’t really care a ton about being able to see the solar charging data, but BMPro has the battery chemistry and capacity settings locked within the solar settings, which is a bigger problem. Any tips or troubleshooting ideas appreciated!
