Interested on second opinion for surgery
Hey everyone
I've completed 6/6 rounds of chemo infusions but have to have herceptin every 3 weeks until February 2027.
I am lucky that I'm in Australia and most of my treatment is fully covered by Medicare. My full flat mastectomy has been booked for July 13th but I still feel doubts that it's my best option.
I would have to pay to go private to get a second opinion and as I've stopped working, I'm wondering if I should bother.
Did anyone else get a second opinion that was different to what they'd already been told OT did it confirm things for you. I'm so anxious about losing my boob. I know it's silly.
