Am I missing something? (Spoiler!!)
I’m a bit confused about whether I actually reached the ending or not.
I played Road to Empress 2 and chose Li Tai’s route. I got to the confrontation at the Mirage Pavilion, and then I automatically received the ending where the protagonist has “explored the world,” but Li Tai dies.
I’m confused because the circumstances feel very mysterious and abrupt, and I can’t seem to move past that point with any other choices. Is this really the end of Li Tai’s route?
Also, there is no ending-clear notification appearing for me at the bottom where the four endings are shown, and my chapter progress doesn’t seem to match what would count as the “true ending.”
I understand that this ending may be more historically accurate, but it feels too sudden. Could my chapter completion be affected by the fact that I haven’t played Li Zhi’s route yet, or am I missing something in Li Tai’s route?
